About Amber Yurcisin

Due to the nature of labor organizing and my administrative financial experience at the NJ Laborers' PAC, I have experience in field operations, campaigns, trainings, planning and staffing events, helping develop budgets, process all reports, filings, and accounting correspondence, etc. I can work effectively with people from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds as many members and operatives of trades unions tend to be. I have run for office multiple times at multiple levels and thus have a large experience in community engagement, community partnerships, community organizing, and/or advocacy, ideally in pro-labor arenas. I also have campaigned for women’s reproductive rights and cannabis reforms as well. With that, I have an extensive knowledge of local municipal and statewide government legislative and regulatory practices and policies. I have lobbying and government affairs policy experience specifically in public health and hospitals, as well as development experience in the non-profit affordable housing space.
