About Amber Zander
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Baltimore pursing a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice specializing in Corrections. I work with the Second Chance College Program at UBalt to help bring college into their Jessup Campus for incarcerated individuals. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI (Dec '18). While at MU, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Finland for comparative crime and punishment. Through this I was able to complete an independent study, looking at the successful reentry of the formerly incarcerated. This study helped me realize my passion in helping those incarcerated have access to education and help them to successfully reenter into society.
