About Ambrogio Brambilla

I like to work with people and technology. I started working many years ago and I have seen the continuous innovation in IT which has changed the world. One of my main goals in my professional life is to use the technology to simplify the processes and to make the work easier for the people. Until June 2019, I worked as the manager of the Italian IT team which provides support and services to all Italian offices. I was fully responsible for the software development, infrastructure, service management, Sarbanes and Oxley regulation for IT, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. Now I am the Italian CRB tech leader and I am also responsible for all the Italian software development teams. After the Covid period WTW started a digital transformation project that has involved Italy and my team. We have worked on important projects that mixed services both international and local. The most important ones are the delivery of the international Broking Platform tool and the migration to the new document management system based on Microsoft Sharepoint and Azure. Both of them have included the development of Outlook apps and of the interfaces with local applications. Here are some other successful projects I worked on in the latest years: 1) Document management system for all the Italian business process 2) Integration between local applications and international document management system (EMC Documentum) 3) DMS Migration from Microsoft Sharepoint to EMC Documentum 4) Italian infrastructure to support the EMC Documentum 5) Service support model with local and international teams and suppliers 6) Flexible Benefits Web Tool for client's employees 7) Employee Benefit web tool 8) Web Risk Grading tool for clients and prospects (prototype software for Risk Consulting engineers) Here is the list of some projects managed in the previous years: Health system survey (JCI standard) and claims management Accounting software migration from a local package (IBM Acg) to an international one (Sun Account) Deployment of Willis International client services Replacement of the local IT infrastructure Full project management of the Italian Web services Crops policy and claim web tool used by farmer associations
