About Ambuja Budakoti

I like building things that solve problems and make sense - for people, for systems, and for the planet. Over the last couple of years, I’ve worked on digital products powered by AI and data — figuring out how to automate messy processes, improve user experiences, and make tools more useful and scalable. I’ve collaborated with engineers, designers, and data scientists at places like Cipla Digital Health and HiLabs. I have worked on research projects at Johns Hopkins and the University of Waterloo - mostly in areas tied to renewable energy, healthcare, data science, and tech for good. I studied Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Energy at IIT Kanpur, where I also co-founded the campus Sustainability Cell. I’m most excited by the intersection of product, data, AI, and impact - and love working with teams that care about what they’re building and who they’re building for.
