About Amelia Clark

I am a Chartered Accountant with a particular passion for education. I trained with a top 10 accounting firm, providing audit and value-for-money services to local authority, NHS and other not-for-profit clients, eventually taking a head of service role as Associate Director of the Business Advisory service. I am also the incredibly proud owner of an Ofsted Outstanding Early Years Preschool setting which employs 13 staff and provides 50 children each year with Early Education and the building blocks for life long learning. I have extensive experience in auditing systems and controls, as well as financial audit experience, and I have worked extensively challenging and supporting public sector bodies to achieve value for money in their operations. I have had first hand experience of leading an educational setting and all that entails from policy setting, risk assessing, safeguarding in practice, to financial and resource management. At Strictly Education I bring my hands-on experience in managing systems and people to oversee the Internal Scrutiny team and process to ensure every client receives a well-planned, well-communicated smoothly run service which adds value to the operational and educational success of my clients.
