About Amelia Gabor

As CPEX’s Communications and Special Initiatives Coordinator, I help to organize and promote CPEX initiatives, projects, events, and outreach activities. I oversee CPEX’s social media content and metrics and assist with all communications campaigns and endeavors. I love participating in CPEX’s community engagement opportunities and working with people, and I’m especially engaged in the intersections of art, health, equity, climate resilience and planning. In my final semester at LSU, I used my experience at CPEX to spearhead the Tiger Cross Project–an initiative that uses art to enliven campus crosswalks as engaging and safe places for people–in an effort to emphasize the benefits of safe, walkable communities to their inhabitants. I am an Honors graduate of the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University with a specialization in Political Communication and a minor in Political Science. I’m currently pursuing my MBA with a concentration in marketing through LSUS’ online accelerated MBA program.
