About Amelia Gordon

I’m a current ANU student pursuing a Flexible Double Degree in International Security and Arts (Criminology and Anthropology). As of now, I am employed as an Enquiry Officer at the ANU. In this role I communicate with potential students for ANU about the enrollment process. I was recognised as the Top Indigenous Student in the Northern Territory, receiving the prestigious award presented by the Northern Territory Education Board and GSLC. I previously worked as an Assistant at Darwin Youth Arts, an organization dedicated to providing youth access to art lessons and creative opportunities. Aligned with LAUNCH Darwin, I also facilitated online art tutorials for youth during the lockdown. I am currently working freelance providing content creation and collaboration services for various brands. I specialize in online content creation and collaboration with brands such as Ghanda Clothing, Edge Clothing, Doc Martens Australia, Levis, Best Face Forward (BFF) skincare, Glassons, Roxy, Billabong, CheekyGlo, and Sportsgirl for Instagram promotion to drive sales. I am also a reporter for the ANU Observer, reporting on current affairs occurring within the ANU Community. By doing this role I've been able to get real experience when it comes to journalism. I served as a Social Media Ambassador for LAUNCH Darwin, where I contributed to community-focused roles, including social media marketing, advertising, and engagement.
