About Amelia Kumer

As a Litigation Project Assistant at Ankura, I support complex litigation cases and investigations with independent research and communication skills. I graduated from the University of Maryland in December 2022 with a BA in American Government and Politics, where I developed a keen interest in the legal and political systems of the United States. Before joining Ankura, I worked as an Outreach Specialist at Bethesda Cares, a nonprofit organization that provides services and advocacy for homeless and low-income individuals in the community. There, I learned how to build rapport and trust with diverse and vulnerable populations, and how to coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders and partners. I also have over two years of experience as an Assistant Sales Manager at South Moon Under, a fashion retailer, where I honed my organization, leadership, and customer service skills. I am passionate about using my education and experience to contribute to the resolution of challenging and impactful legal issues.
