About Amelia Manning

I began an interest in travel and tourism when I started to do my travel and tourism a level in college. Once I finished college and achieved my merit in my studies I wanted a job where I could develop my knowledge and my passion.I started my level 3 travel consultant apprenticeship in September 2021 with Hays Travel. I found that since doing my apprenticeship my confidence has grown and so has my knowledge for the travel industry. Since joining in September I have been to able to expand on my travel knowledge by travelling to the Peak District, Rhodes, Iceland and Venice. I have also been lucky enough to do a ship visit on the new Virgin Voyage, Valiant Lady. I have recently completed my apprenticeship and achieved a level 3 travel consultant and got a distinction. This took hard work and a lot of dedication not only by making sure I was up to date with all my apprenticeship work but by also making sure I was hitting targets in branch. I am looking forward to expanding my travel knowledge, working and learning more about the industry.
