About Amelie Boyaval

As a senior in Chemical Engineering at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques graduating in 2013, I am very interested in the development and optimization of industrial processes. I developed my research and engineering skills through several internships and professional projects. During my internship at the Danish Technical University (department of system biology), I cultured, extracted, separated and analysed metabolites of filamentous fungi. By the end of my project, I was able to performing multiple means of protocols (UHPLC-qTof and isotopic marking for example) and improved those methods during my stay. My supervisors commended me for my communication and creative problem solving skills, and for my ability to work well with many different people within our development team. Then I developed my leadership and interpersonal skills by doing a MBA of Innovation and business management at Ecole Centrale Paris. Problem solving, strategy, business case, ethic, positive leadership with Dimitri Dagot and Ilona Boniwell, creativity methods, project management, collective intelligence and communication. So I worked at HERAKLES (SAFRAN aerospace engineering) for improving their innovation process. I have good knowledge of process chemistry, biotechnology, genomics, microbiology, materials, polymers, quality and HSE standards.
