About Amer Alanati

With over 19 years of hands-on experience in electrical and control systems engineering, I offer deep technical expertise and a strong delivery record across transport, water infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and energy sectors. My core strengths include SCADA, PLC, DCS, process automation, industrial communication networks, instrumentation, and functional safety. I have successfully led and contributed to all phases of the project lifecycle — from strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to design, documentation, programming, testing, commissioning, and operational handover. Currently working as a Senior Engineer – Electrical & Control Systems at UGL, I’ve been instrumental in the delivery of major infrastructure projects. This includes high-voltage and traction power systems (33kV, 1500VDC, 400V) and complex SCADA integrations for critical transport networks. I’ve also delivered automation and control solutions for water treatment facilities, pharmaceutical production, and process industries. I thrive in technically demanding, safety-critical environments where cross-disciplinary coordination and precise execution are essential. Whether in rail, utilities, or industrial automation, I bring a proactive, solution-oriented mindset focused on quality, reliability, and engineering excellence. Let’s connect to collaborate on advancing control systems engineering and infrastructure delivery.
