About Ami Samuels

I am a freelance non-fiction editor and proofreader, with subject matter expertise in history, political science, and (oddly) veterinary medicine. I particularly enjoy editing academic manuscripts. I may be a good match for your needs if… You’ve conducted your research, compiled your results, constructed your theory, and crafted your argument. You’ve finally finished writing the dang thing! But wait, are you really done? Is the punctuation correct? Are the references formatted properly? Are the figures all labeled? If you hate that kind of minutiae or you’ve read the paper so many times the words are just a blur, maybe I can help. Tell me what your paper needs, be it a structural edit, a light copyedit, or a detailed proofread. I’m not here to judge; I’m just here to help make your work shine.
