I have worked in Healthcare since 1990, starting my career as a Mental Health Associate at Peninsula Psychiatric Hospital, soon transitioning into the Acute Care Hospital setting as Psychiatric Intake Coordinator. I quickly learned that the Acute Care process of medical transitions to the next level of care was a necessary & valued skill set. I found that Case Management is my passion. I enjoy Case Management because it is an ever-learning, challenging, fast-paced, essential process we offer to our patients & their families. Case Management has grown in significance since its inception, no doubt with the Healthcare Reform that continues to challenge our Hospital Systems & ALL providers, Case Management will continue to be of value to our Patients, families & Provider systems, alike. I look forward to Being a part of that change.
