As a lobbyist and government relations specialist, I am renowned for my knack for fundraising, compliance, organizing, management, and grassroots mobilization. My expertise includes management of, and participation in a wide range of campaigns and initiatives, particularly concerning environmental and energy issues. In addition to energy aggregation ballot initiatives for several Ohio cities, my experience includes work with: • An international charitable environmental organization to assist with Clean Energy Policy goals in the State of Ohio • Ohio Citizen Action to help create the “Good Neighbor Campaign Handbook: How to Win” • Several statewide and regional campaigns, including Ohio’s Marsy’s Law, Fair Districts for Ohio and Columbus Zoo Levy campaigns • Ohio Clean Air Campaign (2011-2012) with several Ohio environmental groups Prior to joining Shumaker Advisors, I worked for more than a decade at New Visions Group, a government relations and lobbying firm, where I worked my way up to Vice President. I also previously worked for Ohio Citizen Action, a nonprofit, non-partisan group mobilizing grassroots outreach throughout Ohio. A passionate community supporter, I hold leadership positions in several nonprofit groups, and sit on various committees in Fairfield County, Ohio. I am Vice Chair of the Fairfield County Park District Commission, a founding member of Lancaster Alive and a former First Vice President of Fairfield County Heritage Association. When I’m not busy advocating for my clients, I enjoy volunteering, travel, cooking, wine, and time with my cats.
