About Amid Z.

As a software engineering team lead at CanadaWheels, I oversee the development of innovative and complex web applications that enhance the online shopping experience for customers. I work with a diverse and agile team of full-stack developers, using cutting-edge technologies such as React, Python, PHP, MySQL, and machine learning. I have a master's degree in computer science from the University of Ottawa, where I focused on software engineering and artificial intelligence. I also have more than four years of experience as a senior and junior software engineer at Achievers, a leading employee recognition and engagement platform. There, I contributed to the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality products, using various tools such as Docker, Yarn, Doctrine, and Jenkins. I am passionate about innovation, problem-solving, and best practices in software engineering. I enjoy learning new languages and frameworks, and applying them to real-world challenges. I also value collaboration, communication, and feedback, and strive to empower and support my team members and stakeholders. My goal is to create impactful and user-friendly solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the market.
