About Amie McAfoos

I am a wound care certified registered nurse dedicated to improving patient outcomes and the efficiency of myself and others. I have been a Registered Nurse for ten years, wound care certified for 5 years, and am currently in the process of accruing enough hours to pursue the Certified Hyperbaric RN certification. I thrive on good communication, am passionate about education, and am dedicated to contributing a positive difference using my skillset. This past year I have intermittently acted as the Clinical Coordinator at the Outpatient Wound Clinic where I work when my manager is out of the office. While acting as the Clinical Coordinator I make patient assignments for the other nurses, send productivity reports daily, and make corrections related to patient billing if needed. The Clinical Coordinator also addresses the concerns of the patient(s), nurses, office staff, and providers to ensure we all are working to the peak of our abilities as a team.
