About Amin Negussie

Amin is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of management, training, and consultancy. He holds certifications from the Ethiopian Management Institute (EMI) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and has served as a University Lecturer in Entrepreneurship, Management, and Finance for over 14 years. Currently, Amin holds the position of Managing Director at Path Consulting PLC, where he oversees the strategic direction and operations of the organization. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Trainer/Consultant at HST Consulting PLC, specializing in Learning Solutions (LS). In this role, he was responsible for a wide range of activities including writing technical proposals, conducting training needs assessments, designing instructional materials, and managing both in-person and online training projects. Amin also played a key role in providing high-level consultancy services. Amin's expertise extends to academia, having served as a Lecturer at esteemed institutions such as Aksum University and Addis Ababa University on a part-time basis. Additionally, he has made significant contributions as a UNCTAD Certified National Trainer, having trained over a thousand entrepreneurs at the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) in Ethiopia. His involvement as an Associate Researcher in the development of Ethiopia’s Education and Training Roadmap Study further showcases his commitment to advancing education and research initiatives. Furthermore, Amin has demonstrated his dedication to fostering the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through his role as a Business Development Services (BDS) Manager. The project targeted over 1500 SMEs, focusing on providing essential support to accelerate their growth in Addis Ababa and various regional cities. Amin's multifaceted experience, combined with his expertise in training, consultancy, and academia, reflects his commitment to driving positive change and development within his professional endeavors.
