About Amina Ebrahim

I am an Auditor by profession but a traveller by nature. I obtained my Bachelor Degree in Financial Reporting specialising in Chartered Accountancy at the University of Cape Town.I am highly privileged to have a strong support group at BDO South Africa (Cape Town office) ensuring that I have a good experience while completing my articles. I have been in the External Auditing Industry for nearly 5 years and have gain numerous skills under the company as well as personal development. I have experience in the following industries : Property, Trusts, Information Technology, Shipping and Retail. I have worked in high risk audits as well as small audits and audit reviews. I have over 15 years of experience in photography. Though I no longer have a photography business, it is still part of me, and I continue to pursue it as a passion. I use it has a form of a time capsule of my travels and ensure to capture the inner most beauty of human photography. I have travel thus far to 6 different countries, 2 different continents excluding my home continent. I have extensive experience in local travel, mainly Cape Town. I have been featured on CapeTownMag instagram account to showcase the life of a Cape Town local. My social media accounts (Instagram and Tiktok) is dedicated to travel content and sharing various experiences. On a personal note, I have 2 thoroughbred German Shepherds, I have a vast variety of tea selections and I prefer nature over city life.
