I am a software engineer passionate by Distributed Systems in general and particularly the streaming systems (Kafka Streams, Spark Streaming) and OLAP Databases like Clickhouse. I am proficient in functional Scala with a slight preference in Scala 3 especially the Typelevel stack. I have a solid experience in creating robust micro-services using (cats-effect, skunk, http4s, otel4s, fs2, Clickhouse, PostgreSql, k8s and AWS). My previous role was about designing features for the Data Model service which is a standardization of data modeling that handle all our client use cases, handling complex transactional synchronous and asynchronous mutations on Clickhouse leveraging Postgres transactions and efficient relational modeling of the key meta data. Also from a Data Engineering perspective I am responsible of complex migrations to deprecate legacy systems and ensure a smooth transition to the new standard data modeling service.
