About Amir Amanullah

I am a fourth-year medical student applying for Diagnostic Radiology residency positions for the 2024-2025 match cycle. Throughout my academic journey, I have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed research teams at the University of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Shriners Hospital for Children, contributing to impactful research publications and conference presentations.As a medical student, I have authored several published papers and have additional works currently undergoing peer-review, where I served as the first author and led the raw data collection and statistical analysis. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel and IBM®'s SPSS® program, enabling me to conduct comprehensive clinical data analysis.During a dedicated two-year period following my initial medical school training from 2019-2021, I immersed myself in independent research focused on Diagnostic Radiology projects. This included investigations into the use of FDG PET/CT in conditions such as psoriatic arthritis, cutaneous psoriasis, cutaneous lymphomas, and melanomas. Additionally, I contributed to pediatric spine deformity studies related to diagnostic imaging involving surgical drains, halo gravity traction, and spinal curve progression.Looking ahead, I am excited to apply my passion for research and commitment to advancing the field of Diagnostic Radiology.
