About Amir Vafa

Amir joined Zeidler Partnership Architects in 1997 with extensive previous experience at leading architectural firms in Los Angeles and Montreal. While at Zeidler, Amir provided design, administrative and technical leadership coordinating with the large client management team on the Niagara Fallsview Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario. His Zeidler portfolio also includes design and project architect roles on the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center in Paducah, Kentucky and the Humber River Regional Hospital Redevelopment project. After several years working in the Toronto office, Amir was made Director of Design and Chief Representative of Zeidler Partnership Architects, China from 2004 to 2007. While in Beijing, he was involved with the preparation of designs, contracts, fees, business development and marketing. Amir’s recent experience since returning to the Toronto office has focused on the Toronto Airport Hyatt Hotel & Convention Facility adding to his extensive experience in the design and management of some of the largest retail, entertainment and mixed-use projects internationally. Currently Amir is the Managing Director of the middle east operations and the Abu Dhabi office.
