Background
About Amira Youssef
Working with people is my passion- no matter what the population; children, customers, vulnerable populations. I am a multidimensional employee, who is constantly learning and applying my skills in different ways. I have been able to grow through my education and work experience, and I am always looking to broaden my horizons. My interest in mental health first sparked during my time at Western University, where I studied Psychology and was able to learn about various issues surrounding mental health. This brought me to Centennial College's Addiction and Mental Health Worker program to focus my learning and experience. My past work experience, both customer service and child care, have given me the ability to empathize with people from all walks of life and I wish to continue to build working relationships with others and make positive changes in the world! •BA, Psychology, Western University•Diploma in Addiction and Mental Health •Crisis Intervention Training•Advocate for Mental Health
