My research interest involves the study of interrelationship between aquatic chemistry and water treatment. My recent and ongoing research has been primarily focused in the areas of low cost and energy efficient water & wastewater treatment and resource recovery. The ultimate aim of my research is to develop state-of-the-art knowledge, tools and processes to advance the field of separation technologies in order to address the new challenges in the field of water treatment technologies through contributions to the areas of new materials / method development.
