About Amit Dharia

An inventor, innovator, and entrepreneur with 35+ years of diverse interest and experience in new plastics/polymer R&D, process development, project management, and problem-solving. After working for multinational corporations as an R&D engineer for several years, in I founded Transmit Technology Group, LLC (TTG)- a laboratory for Plastics Testing, failure analysis, and Contract Research. This has offered me a unique opportunity to work on many exciting problems/projects for start-ups, and small and large domestic and international companies. Many of the projects I have worked on have resulted in allowed patents or valuable IPs for clients. My first-of-a-kind testing equipment- TECHNOFORM- is used in over a hundred studies and is helpful to resin producers, sheet producers, and Thermoformers in reducing up-front development time. My goal is to develop a standardized test to characterize "Thermoformability" and to make Technoform a must-have piece of equipment in Thermoforming Industry. I am an inventor or co-inventor with several issued patents, disclosures of inventions, and 26 technical conference papers. I am also registered with USPTO and am interested in IP and technology valuation. In addition, I have taken training in patent drafting and prosecution.
