About Amit Ghai

I have over 25 years of global leadership experience in the energy industry. As Chevron’s Assistant Controller, I am accountable for the development of the company's external SEC financial reports and internal executive financial reports along with providing tax accounting expertise and interpretation and implementation of FASB accounting rules. I also serve as the Secretary to Chevron's board audit committee. My core competencies include corporate finance, financial management, oil and gas accounting, and energy industry knowledge. I have an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan along with MS and BS in Chemical Engineering. In my previous roles, I was the Controller for downstream, midstream and chemicals, and led the finance function for commodity trading operations. I am passionate about delivering high-quality financial information and insights that support Chevron's strategy and value creation.
