About Amit Ghodake

Amit is currently working as a financial risk management professional for the Stanlow Refinery of Essar based out of GCC at India. He is the part of mid-office function for the financial risk management of the refinery. He has previously worked with Reliance Industries Limited in their Supply and trading Commodity mid office for close to 5 years. Prior to this role, he has worked extensively with business team of Kotak Mahindra Bank managing banking relationship of large corporates having turnover of more than 1500 Cr. for two and half years. He has delivered exceptional performance and has received appreciation many times from senior people in the industry for financial risk management. Overall, he is a very disciplined, self-motivated and agile person. Amit has done Masters in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai with specialisation in Finance. At JBIMS, he has done extremely well in his academics throughout the course and was actively involved in solving real life complex business cases along with volunteering activities for the University of Mumbai. He has graduated as B.E in Electronics & telecommunication from Sardar Patel Institute of technology, Mumbai. Prior to MBA, he worked at Packt Publishing where he gained experience in Product Management and was responsible for commissioning of new products and the revenue generated by sales of such products. He has also worked with telecom giant Ericsson as Mobile OSS engineer where he handled critical systems for clients based out of Europe. He has been a high performer throughout his career of more than ten years.
