A competent professional with more than 20 years of extensive experience with the Engineering domain of Hospitality / Facilities Management in wide ranging specialized fields of System Design, Installation & Commissioning, Testing & Tuning, Trial & Overseeing of Major Engineering equipment, Quality Management, Facilities/Asset Management and Training & Development. Was Responsible for administration of personnel (of the strength of approximately 50) and supervision and coordination of repair and operation work in the ship/ harbour. Job also involved task scheduling of skilled and highly trained manpower Operation, Maintenance, and Repair of the Main and Auxiliary Machinery. Supervised the job undertaken by artificers and apprentices. Operated Main and Auxiliary machinery on board ship. Carried out repair, maintenance, testing and tuning of main engines (Diesel Engines) and Auxiliary machinery like A/C plants, RO/Distilling plants, Compressors, Pumps, etc. Responsible for Operation, maintenance, performance, availability, security, custody and safety of all systems and equipment in my charge. Embarked craft and ship’s boats, including associated control, surveillance and data logging systems. Auxiliary machinery like Diesel Alternators, compressors, RO/distilling plants, pumps and their associated systems. Various types of control systems like pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and their combination. Hydraulic Systems Air-conditioning and Refrigeration systems.
