About Amit Kaul

More than eleven years of experience in many facets of Supply Chain Management like Supply chain analytics and decision sciences, Inventory Management and Control, Demand Forecasting and Planning, Replenishment Planning, Solution designing, Aftermarket Supply Chain Solutions, Analytics, Supply Planning, Sourcing, Use of Statistical Modeling to drive supply chain performance. I have a Masters in Management Studies (Operations and Supply Chain Management) from K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai and Engineering in Computer science from KJ Somaiya college of Engg, Mumbai. I am APICS certified for CPIM and CSCP. I am also certified in R programming from Edureka. In my current capacity, I am leading a project for a major global conglomerate. The client is a manufacturing industry behemoth having presence in various sectors like Aviation, Oil and Gas, Renewables etc. Our engagement is with the client’s Aviation division. We, as a team are currently working on improving the various KPIs of the client’s Aviation business like On-time delivery, delinquency, Inventory and providing them recommendations to improve the performance of their overall supply chain. Some of the major initiatives that we have taken during the course of our engagement with the client include driving the execution of the stocking strategy for the critical parts, Inventory profiling and Projection, Build Plan Coverage and shortage visibility, Providing visibility into the supply chain Line of Balance, Process improvement, Root Cause Analysis for the lines for which On-time Delivery was missed etc.
