I have 16+ yrs of experience in Data Technology Architecture, and have worked as a Data Architect and Engineering Leader. I have formulated the Data strategy, Data architecture principles, standards, guidelines, Roadmap for OLTP and Cloud Data Warehouse Applications. I also led the Public Cloud Strategy (AWS/Azure/Snowflake), focused on data architecture, engineering, Data Integration, App migration decision framework. I had led the digital transformation programmes for several companies and implemented cost-cutting initiatives. As a Data Engineering and Migration leader in Aon and TCS, I was responsible for modernization and migration of Data Infrastructure. I was responsible for consolidating 25 apps, 100 DB servers, Databases from 10+ global data centers (US, UK,EMEA and APAC) through the deployment of hybrid cloud environments. I have successfully transformed file-based databases (Lotus Notes/ Mainframes) to on-premise and cloud-based relational databases and has experience in several migration and data modernization programs for Fortune 500 companies (AON,RBS, HP and TCS). I have implemented several real-time cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes using Snowflake/ParAccel by gathering data from different front and back office systems. Additionally, I had delivered a first-of-its-kind cloud-native analytics platform that provides secure, real-time, self-service analytics on a global scale using Thoughspot, covering North America and Latin America. As a DBA manager, I have experience in building Managed Data Services and Data center of excellence (COE) teams. I was accountable for ensuring Data governance, Database infrastructure availability Data management, Change Management, Quality control and Production support for the entire enterprise portfolio applications across NA, EMEA. I managed team of 15 DBA’s, Data Engineer and Developers to provide 24x7 proactive event detection, database's health and restoration services for 100+ applications & associated Data infrastructure. I was part of core team who setup global Availability Command Center at Aon along with 100% accountability of proactive availability support. I am a certified Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect and Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer. I have just started learning Databricks and have done Lakehouse Fundamentals certification.
