About Amit Lokhande

I’m a results-driven professional with over 8 years of diverse experience across business development, client relations, operations leadership, and digital innovation.Currently, I serve as a Production Shift Manager at IDL (Geelong, Australia)- leading packaging operations, mentoring teams, and driving continuous improvement through safety, quality, and efficiency initiatives.Alongside my industrial career, I founded SmartGen Digital — a growing technology venture focused on digitizing training, maintenance, and inventory systems in manufacturing. Through platforms like TrainSmart, SpareSmart™, PreventSmart™, and more, I’m combining real-world operational insight with smart, practical software solutions.Beyond the production floor and code editor, I’m also a musician at heart — a keyboardist, guitarist, and tabla player, and was the lead pianist, composer, and lyricist for one of India’s early metal fusion bands, which made its debut with “Kaalhasti” on Zee Music Company.Music taught me discipline, collaboration, and creativity - values that now define my approach to leadership and innovation.Whether it’s orchestrating a production shift or composing a melody, I believe in bringing structure, emotion, and purpose to everything I create.
