About Amit Sela

I am passionate about exploring new fields and looking for my next challenge. Interested in research and development in various fields of chemistry. I have self-learning and teaching abilities. A reliable, devoted, hardworking, creative team player. I'm a 3rd-year student in Chemistry & Communication at the Hebrew University in Israel. I have experience working in the laboratory with different and diverse methods, starting with organic and inorganic syntheses, crystallization methods, purification of products, chromatography methods, and crystallography analysis, MNR and IR results. I have knowledge and experience in programming in Matlab, full command of Microsoft Office, and experience in data analysis in Origin and SPSS programs. Currently, I am a research student in the research laboratory of Dr. Ido Hadar, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I am participating in chemistry research about soft semiconductors- Perovskite. As part of the work, I'm setting up an optical room, and working with various lasers, spectrographs, etc. I'm also conducting measurements of excitonic emission to calculate radiation lifetime in different wavelengths.
