About Amit Vardhan

My Life’s Mantra: “Adapt. Embrace change. Make the most of everything that comes your way.” This enables me to make the best out of any given situation, turning even life’s “negatives” into “positives”. I started by joining my father’s business in India. To succeed in life, my father taught me to place the value of relationships above all else. I’ve lived by this principle ever since: the more we add value to the lives of the people around us, the more we add value to ourselves. To do this, I decided to pursue a post-graduate degree in Business Administration to further develop my skills in advertising and marketing. My major turning point was when I moved out of India to join an advertising agency in Oman. This experience gave me immense learning about the profession, as I worked on various projects, including an inflight magazine for Oman Air and Omani product promotions for the Government of Oman. I was also immersed in conventional advertising by organizing events and exhibitions. In 2004, I started Prism Advertising in the UAE and Prism Communications in the UK. Over 15 years later, we’ve worked with hundreds of clients across the globe, including launching several Bollywood films (“Life in the Metro” and “Not by Chance”) in the UAE with Star TV and UTV. In 2010, we organized the biggest India show in the UAE for the Federation of Indian Exporters Organization (FIEO) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India. Through Business Network International (BNI), I found a niche of like-minded professionals. I have stepped up to senior roles such as VP, Visitor Host, Education Coordinator and President thrice in 2 chapters. I have also been awarded “Member of the Year” in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019. Following the “Givers Gain” philosophy, I became a Launch and Support Director and a Facilitator at BNI workshops in 2018. Soon, I will be launching my second chapter in a new region.
