29 years of research and development experience in implementing advanced DSP-based applications with an emphasis to conceptualization and final implementation on FPGA, DSP and microprocessors.* 17 years of experience in design and development of precision electronic circuits for nuclear power reactor instrumentation and overall system design of complex instrumentation systems for nuclear power reactors as Scientific Officer in Bhabha Atomic research Centre, Mumbai.*3 years of postgraduate teaching experience in electronics engineering stream at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre training school.*Worked on applications of DSP techniques for nuclear instrumentation.*One algorithm was implemented on FPGA and a patent application was filed for it. The same work was selected as a part of Indian representation for the 3rd meeting of International Atomic Energy Working Group on Advanced Techniques for Heavy Water Reactor, Vienna.*Implemented IP-cores for communication like Direct Digital synthesis, Viterbi decoder, Reed-Solomon decoder, 5/3 and 9/7 Discrete Wavelet Transform, encoder, CCSDS compliant turbo decoder, ETSI compliant turbo decoder and burst demodulator on FPGA for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).*Implemented digital sub-systems including vocoder and common air interface for digital radio based on APCO25 standard on TI DSP TMS320C54x.*Ability to adapt to new technologies and to develop new concepts.*Track record for meeting time lines and expectations even with new concepts and designs.*Excellent analytical abilities and presentation skills.*Research in wavelet-based applications.*FPGA-based circuit design.
