About Amitava Ghosh

I am a professional specialized in Educational Leadership and Management at the School level. My professional grooming has been in some of the finest Public Schools in the country. I started my career as an Economics teacher in a fully boys residential school. I have worked in diverse climatic conditions - from the hinterlands bordering Haryana and Rajasthan to the hills of Himachal Pradesh. I have worked in different capacities - as an Economics teacher, as a Housemaster, as a Head of Faculty and also as an I/C for Air Rifle shooting. I also carry the diversity of working in a fully boys residential school, fully girls residential school, co-ed residential school and co-ed day schools. My tryst with Leadership positions in K - 12 Schools has been for the past 14 years. Mrs. Indira Purkayastha Ghosh, my best half, is a professional sculptor armed with a Masters in Plastic Art from Benaras Hindu University. We have worked together for most of the time. We are blessed with a 21 year old daughter who’s completed her Senior School from Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior and her Bachelors majoring in AppliedPsychology from the University of Delhi.
