Amlan is a PhD in Management. He has 29 years of experience with corporate,( A.V.Birla and TATA group), consulting, training and Educational Institutions. The corporate experience includes Product development, International Business, Marketing, EdTech and Administration. The education industry experience includes institution building, teaching, research, placement, E-learning and LMS development. Has been instrumental in setting up Management Institutes in various parts of the country. Worked as HOD, Dean and Director of Management, Mass Communication and Engineering Colleges. Amlan was instrumental in drafting of National Occupation Standards in the area of Digital Marketing for NSDC under National Skill Qualification Framework. Amlan's teaching areas are Economics, International Business, Analytics. His research areas are economic analysis and international trade. Amlan has written several books, book chapters, scopus and ABDC indexed research papers. As a consultant, Amlan has worked with Planman, Infinite Sum Modeling Inc. and Upwork Inc. with various Government and International clients spread across continents. Amlan also worked as SME/ Content Developer in the field of Management and Economics with E-learning publishers.
