About Amma Kankam
I am a graduate from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. I am interested in learning about and researching avenues that tackle the problems of Climate Change and Pollution/Waste Management, and how we can reduce the harmful effects of human activity on the environment. My current research as an undergraduate student focuses on investigating the conversion of nitrate ions in contaminated water to ammonium ions via electrocatalysis. I am excited to be in a field that creates, improves, seeks solutions for substantial change and turns ideas into meaningful realities.
