About Ammad Ahmed

I hold a professional background as an Electrical Engineer, having graduated from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. Additionally, I am an accredited engineer by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). With over 7 years of extensive experience across diverse domains including agritech, power electronics, medical devices, and automation, I have honed my skills in the entire product development lifecycle - starting from conception to successful implementation. My expertise encompasses project planning, product design, embedded and electronics development, as well as mechanical fabrication for casing. Currently, I serve as a Technology Specialist and Team Lead for Research & Development. In this capacity, I am responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, and driving innovation to achieve successful implementation of novel and groundbreaking solutions. Some notable projects I've been involved in include N-Saviour (a cost-effective ICU/CCU Ventilator), PrestineAir (Powered Air Purifying Respirator - PAPR), a Real-time feedback-driven syringe pump, a Smart Stent for real-time tracking of coronary stent system dislodgement, and a Smart Wound Management System (an electronically powered bandage with a controlled drug delivery system), among others.
