About Amna Khan

I am dedicated to advancing the development of groundbreaking drugs that make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. I am excited to share that I have recently joined Parexel as a Site Monitor I. Previously, I worked at ICON plc, where I began in an In-House Clinical Research Associate role and was promoted to a Clinical Research Associate position in March 2023. My journey in clinical research has been driven by a commitment to excellence and a passion for improving patient outcomes. I am responsible for monitoring clinical sites, ensuring compliance with protocols, regulations, and ethical standards, resolving queries, and reporting on the progress and quality of the trials. I have contributed to several projects in different therapeutic areas, such as infectious diseases and neurology, and have demonstrated skills in Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and drug development. I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, where I gained a solid foundation in research methods, data analysis, and human behavior. I also have multiple certifications from CITI Program in GCP, shipping and transport of biological materials, and bloodborne pathogens. I am eager to learn new skills and expand my knowledge in the clinical research field.
