About Amnah Mahroo

With 6+ years in neuroimaging and computational modeling, I specialize in developing advanced imaging biomarkers and data-driven solutions for clinical applications. One of my most rewarding projects was the end-to-end development of an automated MRI processing product—a critical need I identified, designed, built, and deployed. Today, it’s actively used by five international collaborators, significantly reducing processing time and enabling real-time decision-making in research and clinical trials. Beyond imaging biomarkers, I’m leading two major digital health initiatives: 1. Developing a robust image biomarker for the blood-brain barrier a key factor in neurological diseases like Alzheimer’s and dementia. This involves clinical validation, reproducibility testing, and pharmacological response analysis, laying the groundwork for a transformative neuroimaging-based diagnostic tool. Building a Digital Twin ecosystem for patient-centric analysis, using AWS, SQL, machine learning, and real-time analytics dashboards. The goal is to create an LLM-based platform that integrates imaging and clinical data, helping clinicians predict outcomes, optimize treatments, and uncover deeper insights into disease mechanisms.
