About Amoses Holton

I'm a software engineer with over 8 years of experience developing big data streaming pipelines and processes in Java. Started my career at Zoominfo and grew into a leader at the company as its gone through countless acquisitions and became a public company. I've been responsible for developing, scaling, and maintaining the contact data streaming pipeline that processes and indexes over hundreds of millions of business contacts daily for our customers to search, enrich, and utilize for their use cases. A small list of some fun technical changes, challenges, and knowledge gained during my 8 year tenure at Zoominfo: we've transitioned all assets and data from on premises to GCP, went from utilizing HornetQ to ActiveMQ to now a managed Kafka cluster for all event processing, moved away from performing manual deploys of jars to a JBoss VM servers to now having containerized apps utilizing autoscaling in GKE with dependable rollouts and rollbacks. I'm grateful to have been able to learn, adapt, and utilize the latest and greatest technologies and tools for our systems over the years. I've become subject matter expert on the end to end systems for anything related to contact data and more recently our entity matching systems. With that, I've had the opportunity to onboard new engineers and collaborate with many teams across the organization to implement and deliver new features.
