About Amran Alinuddin

He started his career as ops frontliner at an airport in Indonesia for 18 years. His involvement in Air Traffic Services Quality and Safety Management training, followed by a successful completion of Master’s degree in Risk Management from the UNSW, had given him a much wider role in the dessemination of the concept and implementation of Safety Mgt for airports and ATS. From 2004 – 2013, many important roles have been parts of his jobs, including the establishment of Safety and Risk Office at Angkasa Pura II. Another important role in shaping up his portfolio was as Master Plan & Corp Plan Mgr, conducting studies and reviews of long term strategic plan for airports and ATS within Jakarta FIR. He served as Senior Mgr of Aviation Business at the Head Office for two years. This position made him involved in the transition from manual to electronic bar coded technology. His last assignment in Angkasa Pura II was the GM of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang. This assignment was about 6 months, but had successfully uplifted level of improvement in service quality of the airport in ACI ASQ Survey. January 2013 was the era of single air navigation service provider, a very significant milestone of enhancing level of service in association with air traffic service provision in Indonesia. This time was a very crucial moment and challanging phase that involved him as one of key persons. Up until July 2015, gradually everything had been improved raising the bar for the entire service provisions, ranging from administrative, operations and finance aspects through 193 locations across Indonesia, employing people and handling almost ten thousands traffic every day. He was asked to assist the BoD of Airnav Indonesia as an advisor, in the efforts of establishing a learning center, essentially designed to support and consolidate efforts to improve profit, productivity, culture and employee development. Next, he was also involved in strengthening the company's service performance in the area of safety and operations. His current role in Airnav Indonesia, after the accomplishment of several crucial roles in the management side, is shifted to the Supervisory Board as the Committee Member of Risk Management and GCG. Aside from this aviation related matters, in mid 2018 he widened his network by joining PPM Manajemen as Staff-pro which entitles him to be part of the assessment center team as well as the coaching team at this institution.
