About Amrender Kumar

He is a professional with around 7 years of experience in the development and rehabilitation domain specialised in child rights and child protection with the masters degree from University of Delhi and Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He is recipient of Laal Bahadur Shastri Scholarship. He was chief coordinator of The Ray Event (Guinness World Record Event) Worked for 45 days to aware the mass and specially the youth against the depression. Along with his team urged thousands of people to speak out against depression. Being an NSS cadet in the time of his Intermediate and Graduation from University of Delhi, he worked for various social issues. He is also a recipient of the Volunteer Award, awarded by Swami Shraddhanand College. He has accomplished his masters from Department of Adult Continuing Education and Extension of University of Delhi and submitted his RESEARCH STUDY ON MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT AND RELATED PSYCHOSOCIAL PROBLEM AMONG ADOLESCENT GIRLS AND WOMEN. He is associated with the social cause since the very beginning and currently serving as a Project Coordinator in Prayas JAC Society where he directly works to protect the rights of the CNCP children and ensures their proper rehabilitation by working closely with the Child Welfare Committees, District Child Protection Unit, Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Department of Women and Child Development, GNCT Delhi and other concerned authorities. Before this, he was associated with Railway Children India (RCI) as a Child Welfare Officer and worked for the children who came in contact with railway stations. He is able to work in a complex emergency environment, and has the ability to strategize and adapt programming quickly according to context, needs and stakeholders' requirements. He is always striving for excellence and produces thorough and professional work with optimal use of time and effort along with teamwork. He always upholds and promotes the work ethics and adhere towards Code of Conduct and the Child Protection Policy of the organisations. He has been helping other people and organisations in writing their reports, case stories and success stories as per the need of the different donors and CSR companies. In addition, He also has better known of Child Rights, Child Abuse, Child Protection and related government and non governmental macanism.
