Mr. Amresh is a seasoned professional in ESG and Sustainability with almost 11 years of experience in diverse, cross-functional roles. He is currently a part time PhD scholar at IIM Lucknow, holds an MBA from FMS-Delhi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law & Policy from WWF-National Law University, and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University. He has contributed to esteemed organizations such as the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Forvis Mazars in India, Trilegal, Flsmidth, and Frick India. His technical expertise encompasses the installation and commissioning of low-carbon technologies, industrial plant project management, energy and sustainability policies and regulations, ESG strategy and policy development, ESG reporting and due diligence, Climate Risk Assessnment and Mitigation, GHG accounting, life cycle assessment, and the creation of Net Zero/Decarbonization roadmaps. He is a certified Energy Manager by BEE, a GARP Certified Climate Risk Professional, a Certified Resource Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability professional by CII, a QCI Certified Energy Management professional, a Certified ESG specialist from the CFI Institute and IICSR, and holds certifications in CSRD, TCFD and GRI. He has also completed numerous short-term courses on emerging topics such as the Carbon Market, Green Hydrogen, Alternative Fuels, Energy Storage, CCUS, Fuel Cells, Sustainable Finance, Article 6.2 of Paris agreement, and Monitoring and Evaluation etc.
