I’m a healthcare professional with over 12 years of post-PhD experience at the intersection of integrative oncology, clinical research, and hospital administration. My work focuses on bringing evidence-based complementary therapies—especially yoga therapy—into mainstream cancer care. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Department of Complementary & Alternative Medicine at HCG – Healthcare Global Enterprises, Bengaluru. Here, I’ve led the successful integration of yoga therapy into clinical oncology protocols, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life. My role combines clinical leadership, research design, and operational strategy. I oversee clinical teams, coordinate trials, and contribute to institution-wide initiatives such as real-world data capture, national cancer registry development, and support for academic studies across the HCG network. As a researcher, I’ve authored over 50 international publications and currently serve as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Precision Oncology. My research portfolio includes AYUSH and DST-funded projects, focusing on the role of yoga in breast cancer care. I also teach postgraduate courses in yoga therapy, biostatistics, and research ethics, while mentoring PhD and PG scholars. Internationally, I’ve collaborated with institutions in the USA and Japan, contributing to global discussions on yoga-based integrative oncology.
