My clinical experience of extensively working with patients at an individual level and acquired public health skills of working with the communities give a unique perspective on Health, Preventive Medicine, and Research. I am Passionate about getting involved with patients, communities, and research studies related to chronic diseases centered on diabetes, obesity, cancer, lifestyle interventions, behavioral health, minority and underserved populations that would benefit communities. I am a strong believer in approaching patients and communities with an empathetic and holistic approach that has got the power to transform from within.I have 3 years of clinical experience in managing and educating patients having diabetes and obesity. I have more than a year of research experience in coordinating research studies, IRB, and protocol management, applying qualitative & quantitative design tools, data analysis, program evaluation, and manuscript writing. I have strong Public Speaking, Interpersonal, Organization, Critical thinking, and analytical skills- I am actively seeking an opportunity in the field of Public Health and Research as a Community Health Specialist, Public Health Specialist, Project Coordinator or Research Coordinator- I provide expertise in Program Design, Planning, and Evaluation-Qualitative and Quantitative research designs and data analysis- Well versed with statistical packages: SAS and N-Vivo- Data Visualization and data simulations for funders, stakeholders, and research team- IRB Protocol management, data management, manuscript writing, and research study coordination- Clinical and Patient management-Health and lifestyle education, Diabetes Education, Diabetes foot care screening, and advice- Efficient in creating and presenting audience-appropriate effective power-point presentations and infographics focusing on health education, health promotion, and research.
