We all know that a house is usually the single-largest investment one can make in their lifetime. Enough about that.A local designer said it perfectly when she said "A home is a window to a person's soul". A home is a place memories are made. It's not only a direct reflection of your personal tastes and styles, but so much more: It's a place where a wife is carried over a threshold for the first time, where a little one takes their first steps and utters their first words. It's that room upstairs that you wrote poetry in as a teenager. It's that place with the notches in the door moulding that measures the height of each child. It's the yard you played football in, or raked leaves in, only to fall down in them and throw them at each other when you were little. It's the kitchen that holidays were spent in and celebrations were held. It's a dream achieved. Sometimes, it's a new beginning, or a symbol of hope. Sometimes, it's simply a new adventure. Sometimes, its the ending of all of these, that you can fondly look back at and remember "the good ole' days". Over the past 15 years of selling Real-Estate in North Texas, I've encountered every one of the above situations and a lot more.
