About Amy Balderas

I’m Amy Balderas — a marketer with a creative eye, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for building community through strategy and storytelling. I’m currently studying marketing and entrepreneurship at the University of Houston, where I’ve learned to think like both a brand and a consumer. But most of what I know comes from experience: creating content, managing social media, helping brands grow, and working with people face-to-face. I’ve worn a lot of hats — marketing assistant, brand ambassador, beauty expert — and each role taught me how to communicate better, design smarter, and think bigger. From helping a law firm shape its digital presence to promoting skincare products on campus, I’ve learned how to connect ideas with people and turn attention into engagement. With a background in cosmetology and a license to match, I understand beauty from both the service and branding side. I bring that same attention to detail and client-first energy into every campaign, event, or design project I work on. What’s next for me? I’m seeking internships and creative opportunities where I can build campaigns, elevate brand voices, and keep learning in the world of digital marketing and design.
