About Amy Bell

With over 10 years of experience in continual improvement, supply chain management, regulatory compliance, and GLP/cGMP in the biotechnology and agriculture industry, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver excellence and innovation at Alltech, a global leader in animal health, crop-science, and nutrition. My mission is to ensure that Alltech's products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability, and to support the customer's vision of improving the health and performance of people, animals, and plants. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked, and lived in multiple countries, cultures, and languages, and having led international teams through challenging situations such as changes in government policy, global trade agreements, the 2018 African Swine Fever Virus (ASFv) outbreak as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. As the Global Lead of Quality & Process for Alltech Crop Science, I direct the product, quality and process improvement initiatives across all regions and facilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices alongside stakeholder and customer centric solutions. I am responsible for over 150 product formulations, from inception through customer experience. My focus is continual improvement through customer advocacy, reducing waste, managing risk and identifying, tracking and trending opportunity costs. Previously, I served as the Greater China Quality & Regulatory Manager and North America Fermentation Operations Manager, leading a team to ensure the compliance, quality and efficiency of the manufacturing operations. Some of my recent achievements include implementing and leading biosecurity protocols, capital expenditures, and training surrounding the ASFv outbreak and the COVID-19 pandemic, and managing our annual ONE Conference, Stay Curious Track Training Program. I leverage my skills in quality systems, product management, regulatory compliance, risk analysis, transition (change) management and cross-cultural team leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes and value for Alltech and its customers.
