About Amy Breitner

I have 30+ years of healthcare experience, 25 years as a registered nurse. The majority of my nursing experience was earned in the Emergency Room. I was a traveling ER nurse for 11 years with positions all over the country. As a traveling nurse I had to adapt quickly to new environments, various computer charting programs, and hospital policies while taking a full patient assignment. After 25 years I went back to school and completed my BSN at Lourdes University. I learned how to prioritize a heavy workload and succeed with many responsibilities. I worked full-time while attending school even made the honors list every semester. I was also a member of Signa Theta Tau. I would very much be interested in a nurse educator role. I would like to share my combined education and experiences to help others be successful in their nursing endeavors. I am looking for that position to complete my nursing career and planning on relocating.
