About Amy Brix

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I spent my whole career journey at daycares. I taught preschool, pre kindergarten, and kindergarten. After I had my daughter I decided to try a new adventure. Something I never thaught I would. Retail. I was an associate at Buy Buy Baby as a registry consultant where I spoke with mothers to be about setting up a perfect registry, from there I moved up to gear lead where I informed customers about items such as car seats, strollers, highchairs and bassinets. I then worked to move up to furniture specialist where I ordered the furniture for customers and help them choose their dream nursury. My final move was becoming a store supervisor where I was in charge or opening and closing the building, dealing with the money, training and coaching employees in all departments of the store, as well as helping customers with any concerns with their product or orders. I think what made me enjoy that job so much is the fact it worked with such great people who taught me so much about the business and product. As well as working with customers who were starting their own journey becoming parents which is my favorite job of all, being a mom to my daughter. I am a very organized person who is never afraid to learn something new and work really hard to get it right. My parents taught me a great work ethic that has helped me in all my career endeavors. I cant wait to see where life brings me next.
